Week 54

Kia Ora Whanau!

This week we did alot of Greta things especially for our investigator Ann!

So on Tuesday Ann had a baptisimal interview with President Soloai and it went so well! She was so over the moon about it and President told us that she is very prepared for this next step of baptism! We also go to take her to a baptism that was in our zone on Saturday and she had the most incredible experience. Sister Siale and I did a fast that she would have a spiritual experience at the baptis. Afterwards, all she said is that she cannot wait for her baptism in December! It was such a powerful experience. Also a cool thing that happened at the baptism is that Sister Ball and Sister Taroni (the missionaries who taught the person being baptized) got to witness the baptism. They were the first Sister missionaries to do that in our mission!

President Soloai has set standards for all the missionaries to try and reach and one of them is to have one hour each day specifically dedicated to finding new people to teach. On Wednesday we wanted to switch that hour up and do something other than door knocking so we eis facebook finding. We posted an add for free service on facebook and you would not believe how many people asked for our help! We have at least one service every day this week which is so exciting and hopefully we will find some new people to teach through it.

On Thursday we had a lesson with Steve and Judith. Currently, Steve doesn't seem as keen as Judith but he still listens and take it all in and keeps commitments. I am so impressed with his faith and willingness to support his wife. I know that his humility will lead him to gaining a testimony of the truth.

Friday and Saturday were dedicated to moving. We moved from are smallish regular missioanry flat to this super nice home! It's such a blessing except for the fact that we had to spend so much time moving and then also cleaning the old flat. But the other missionaries in the zone were great and helped out. We wouldn't have been able to do it without them.

This week for my spiritual thought comes from something that was said in sacrament meeting. A member said that sometimes it's hard to motivate yourself to do the things you know you should be doing, like reading your scriptures or praying, and that's normal.  She then said that of you need a little more motivation to do the right things to read the conference talks from this last general conference and highlight all the promised blessings given by the speakers if you do the small and simple things because there are heaps and it will surely motivate you to do those small and simple things. So I just want to give the same invitation that this member did! It will definitely motivate you to do the things that will help you draw closer to Heavenly Father.
